It is said that the hand-stretched somen noodle-making technique was brought to Shodoshima about 400 years ago.
Since then, our artisans have carefully preserved the traditional ingredients and methods.
We use 100% of union-recommended wheat, salt from the Seto Inland Sea, and sesame oil from Kadoya Oil Company, which helps maintain the flavor and quality by reducing oxidation.
