Carefully handmade by skilled noodle makers in Shodoshima, these somen noodles are known for their firm texture and smooth finish.
The olive somen, inspired by Shodoshima’s identity as the “Island of Olives,” is made using olives grown at the Nakabu-an farm.

Nakabu Shoten
Around 410 years ago, somen was first made in Shodoshima during the winter off-season. Continuing this tradition, we still produce both "somen" and "olives" to this day.
