Carefully crafted by skilled noodle makers in Shodoshima, these somen noodles are known for their firm texture and smooth feel.
The olive somen is made using olives grown in the Nakabu-an farm on the island, inspired by Shodoshima’s identity as the “Island of Olives.”

Around 410 years ago, somen was first made in Shodoshima during the winter off-season. Continuing this tradition, we still produce both "somen" and "olives" to this day.
