Shodoshima is famous for its soy sauce and tsukudani! The tradition of tsukudani making on Shodoshima began in 1945.
Over time, high-quality ingredients from all over Japan are brought to Shodoshima and carefully processed into various types of tsukudani.
“Mikyo-ka Spicy Kelp” is a premium kelp tsukudani, slowly simmered with Shodoshima soy sauce and kelp from Hokkaido.
The spiciness of chili peppers pairs perfectly with rice, making it an ideal companion for your meal.
